About Our Reclaimed Railway Oak Wood Flooring

Reclaimed from old railway wagons. Carved from the oak’s “first patina” (the first layer of planks), from the heart of the wood, it remains exposed to the elements for years. With its natural features, it features open cracks and fissures, and oil stains from cutting tools; immediately reminiscent of the inimitable centuries-old trunks from which the parquet is made.

Finish: planed surface and part filled (not all knots are filled) lacquer finish
Treatments: Smoked or Bleached
Structure: Engineered 2 layer Birch ply counter-balance layer
Widths: mixed widths 190/220/240mm
Thickness/Wear Layer: 15/3-4mm
