Dukes Oak Herringbone
Dukes Oak is a mid to dark tone wood floor with antique colouring. The natural light to darker shades in the oak are achieved with reactive stains that react with the tannins in the oak. Variations in the colours look particularly good in parquet formats such as Herringbone and Chevron. We use a 9 coat lacquer with this floor to provide a durable and easy to maintain finish, ideal in high traffic areas such as kitchens and hallways. This herringbone flooring is available in a variety formats including extra wide planks, choose from planks, chevron, herringbone, panels and in-laid parquet.

Prime A: Healthy knots (filled) with a maximum of 3 mm. No open defects, minimal colour variation. No sapwood and no end cracks allowed.
Prime B: Healthy knots (filled) with a maximum of 10 mm. No open defects, slight colour variation. No sapwood and no end cracks allowed.
Rustic A: Healthy knots (filled) mostly ± 35 mm. Some knots may exceed 35mm. More colour variation. No sapwood and no end cracks allowed.
Rustic AB: Healthy knots (filled) to any size. More colour variation . Occasionally a little sapwood permitted and end cracks of max. 100 mm allowed.
