Dark Smoked Oak Time Worn 3 Oiled

Dark smoked Aged Oak flooring is a through-and-through treatment where the dark colour is throughout the oak and not just a surface treatment. The smoking process reacts with the tanins in the oak to produce warm dark brown to black tones. The oiled treatment is uses natural impregnating oils to provide protection to the floor. Impregnating Natural Oils are different to Hard Waxoils as the penetrate the oak more for better protection . This floor is ideal for high traffic areas as the floor can be sanded and refinished without losing the colour. Scratches will show less as the natural timber provides the colour of the floor. This plank flooring is available in a variety of finishes including sanded smooth, brushed, oiled and lacquered and in all formats including extra wide planks. This dark wood floor provides a rich, luxurious feel to your room. choose from planks, chevron or herringbone.

Aged Wood Flooring - Time Worn Finish Options

Time Worn 1

Image showing type of destressed wood floor option - Time Worn 1

An incredibly realistic aged floor that reproduces the shrunken timber around knots that take centuries to evolve. Hand made soft rounded bevels and subtle surface textures make this floor truly unique. The surface is further enhanced with standard brushing of the surface with a wire brush to remove softer fibres and creating a natural texture of the surface that follows the grain of the timber. Suitable for rustic grades only and plank widths over 240mm wide

Time Worn 2

The edges of the plank on all 4 sides are made with standard machine made bevels. Suitable for rustic grades only and plank widths up to 500mm wide. Also suitable in Herringbone and Chevron floors.
