Treatex Traditional Hardwax Oil Natural
Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural is a natural oil for use of wooden floors. It is made from a base of Linseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Jojoba Oil, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax and Candelilla Wax. It treats and gives a natural finish to wood floors at the same time. The hard wax oil penetrates into the core of wood for long-lasting protection, while preserving the wood’s natural beauty and elasticity. It is suitable for interior use only. (Do not use outdoors as frost will break down the wax). Hard Wax Oil is virtually odourless and complies with the European Toy Safety Standard EN 71.3.
This product can be used on light timbers such as Oak to reduce the change in colour made by applying the Treatex Hard Wax Oil Clear. Brush on a thin coat of Treatex Hardwax Oil Natural on to the unfinished timber, and allow to dry before sealing with Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear.
Treatex Hard Wax Oil is easy to apply on all commonly used woods. When treating oily or dense timbers (exotic woods such as Jarrah, Ipe, Jatoba, Morado, Tigerwod, Macaranduba, etc) use the Treatex Thinner with the first coat.
Use the Treatex Hardener to increase the resistance of the finish. This is recomended for high traffic areas and commercial locations.
