Borrowdale Oak

Borrowdale limed oak flooring is white washed with a Hard Waxoil finish. The appearance is similar to the traditional process of liming a wood floor to protect it from bugs and provide protection. Today the technique to create limed oak flooring is not used so much as the process of liming wood floors with a caustic lime is high maintenance. Also the technology of advanced finishes has made the technique of liming redundant. Available in Rustic, Rustic A and Prime grades and engineered so suitable for under floor heating. In stock and available for immediate delivery. Also available in 260mm wide oak boards or herringbone parquet. If you need inspiration view our Light Wood Floor photo gallery or on Houzz. Excellent length specification with good average and random lengths for a more premium look. Hard Waxoil floors are one of the most natural finishes for wood floors using natural oils and waxes. Easy to maintain and spot repair if required. When maintaining oiled light oak flooring we recommend using a maintenance oil with white pigment added.
